LILAC 2010

LILAC 2010 was hosted by Library Network Support Services (LNSS) and took place at the Strand Hotel Limerick city Republic of Ireland, 29 – 31st March 2010

Awards:

For the third year running, the CILIP CSG Information Literacy Group recognised outstanding achievements in relation to information literacy by presenting the Information Literacy Award for the most inventive initiative in the sphere of information literacy at the LILAC 2010 conference dinner.

The award was presented to the winner by Prof. Sheila Corrall, University of Sheffield, and by Dr. Gaynor Eyre, Aberystwyth University.

Recipients of the award are recognised for their outstanding achievements in innovation within the area of information literacy. The IL Award is open to all working in the IL arena and from any sector.

The 2010 winner was Anthony Beal, chosen for his commitment and dedication to providing the best learner focused Information Literacy curriculum possible at West Cheshire College.
